How do you start the COSIMA race?
- There is no specific task for the COSIMA Competition.
- This is where COSIMA differs from other student competitions. We appeal to all inventive, creative students: Be pioneers, find a technical task that you realize on your own and then present it to us!
These are the requirements:
- Economic planning and public relations.
- Project implementation and presentation as part of a competition.
- Please register your project via E-Mail to the Cosima Project Office Cosima-mems@vde.com by May 31, 2026.
COSIMA is organized by the Association for Electrical, Electronic & Information Technologies (VDE) with the support of the Federal Ministry of Research, Technology and Space.
Winning with COSIMA
- The three winning teams receive a cash prize.
- And what's more, it really pays off: As a graduate of the COSIMA competition, you will demonstrate very special qualifications that will visibly increase your credit points in your later contact with industry.
- The icing on the cake: The winners of the COSIMA competition are automatically qualified to take part in the international iCANX competition. iCANX is a Chinese initiative where the three winning teams of the regional competitions from China, Japan, Taiwan, Singapore, the USA and Europe meet for a new competition.
